Temporary or Permanent Visa

A visa is required to visit Canada for most nationalities.

Immigration Élite will guide you through the entire visa process, from assessing your eligibility to receiving your visa.

Our experts will advise you on the type of visa best suited to your situation, and guide you in preparing your file.

Here is some important information about visas for Canada:

  • Citizens of certain countries and territories are exempt from visa requirements for short-term stays (less than 6 months).
  • U.S. citizens can generally enter Canada without a visa for a period of 6 months.
  • There are different types of visa for Canada, depending on the reason for your stay (tourism, business, study, work, etc.).
  • Visa processing times may vary.

Visitors who wish to obtain a temporary visa must persuade the officer that they will leave Canada when their visa expires, and that they are able to meet their subsistence needs in Canada. It is very important to submit a well-prepared application to the government to avoid being refused, and to keep a record of this refusal in the applicant’s file.

The TRV is a document issued by a Canadian visa office outside Canada, showing that the holder has met the requirements for admission to Canada as a visitor. A Temporary Resident Visa can be issued for single or multiple entries.

Immigration Élite can explain the steps to take and advise you strategically on all aspects. Our help is practical, accurate and immediate.
