Corporate Services

Are you a growing company in need of international mobility?

Immigration Élite is here to help you navigate the complex world of business immigration and simplify the process of international mobility for foreign workers. We make it easy for you to obtain a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) from EDSC and MIFI, and to obtain a work permit for your workers from Immigration Canada.

We can facilitate the procedures for you, depending on the type of skilled worker, global talent or international business-to-business transfer.

Canada’s international agreements with multiple countries such as the United States (ACEUM), Mexico (ACEUM), the Free Trade Agreement with Colombia, the European Union (CETA), Chile can also be avenues for employee work permit applications.

We are also committed to the integration of specialized workers and their families in Quebec. We offer companies personalized services to help them meet the challenges of the labor shortage affecting many of Quebec’s economic sectors. To this end, we encourage change management within companies so that they can meet the challenge of diversity and cultural inclusion.

LMIAs are categorized according to professions and salaries. There are low and high wage LMIAs and global talent LMIAs. We must apply to EDSC and MIFI in Quebec to hire a foreign worker.

The company must demonstrate that it has not found any candidates on the Canadian job market. Processing times may vary depending on the
company and occupation.

LMIAs for recognized companies and those with global talent can take between 2 and 3 weeks, while LMIAs for low-wage positions can take between 2 and 3 months to obtain a CAQ worker from MIFI and a positive LMIA decision from EDSC.

All Canadian immigration procedures may vary according to province and program. Immigration Canada’s website gives an approximate time for the issuance of work permits.

We must therefore analyze the candidate’s profile to determine which of the Canadian immigration programs is best suited to his or her profile, and also to the debtor’s current employment contract.

Work permit costs will vary depending on the program and the approach taken. We provide you with careful guidance and transparency on our fees.

Anyone wishing to visit Canada should check the Immigration Canada website to see if they need a visitor’s visa to enter the country.

Some applicants will be able to visit and apply for a work permit on Canadian soil. Several situations are possible, depending on the characteristics of the applicant. A file analysis is always recommended.
